This Privacy Notice explains how Tectron Electronics SRL Unipersonale processes personal data of users, customers and visitors using the websites www.tectron.it, www.tectronelectronics.eu, www.tectron.biz and any related online services operated by Tectron.

2. Categories of personal data processed

Tectron may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: name, surname, company name, tax code, VAT number, business details.
  • Contact data: email address, telephone number, billing address, delivery address.
  • Order data: products purchased, order number, order value, shipping method, payment status, delivery information, return requests, warranty requests, RMA requests and customer service records.
  • Fiscal and accounting data: invoice data, receipts, tax records, accounting records and other data required for legal and administrative obligations.
  • Payment data: payment method, transaction status and payment identifiers. Tectron does not directly process or store full payment card details, which are handled by authorised payment service providers.
  • Technical and navigation data: IP address, browser information, device data, access logs, session data, pages visited, date and time of access, security logs and technical data required for the operation and protection of the website.
  • Data voluntarily provided by the user: messages sent by email, contact forms, support requests, technical assistance requests, compatibility requests, photographs, documents or technical information provided by the customer.

4. Nature of data provision

The provision of data necessary for order management, billing, payment, shipping and customer assistance is required in order to conclude and perform the contract. Failure to provide such data may prevent Tectron from accepting the order, shipping the products, issuing fiscal documents or providing assistance.

The provision of data for marketing purposes is optional. Refusal to provide marketing consent does not affect the possibility of purchasing products or using the essential services of the website.

5. Processing methods

Personal data are processed by electronic, IT, telematic and, where necessary, paper-based means, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation, accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and storage limitation.

Tectron adopts reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, alteration, disclosure or misuse.

Personal data are mainly processed within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

8. Data retention

9. Newsletter and commercial communications

Tectron may send newsletters, offers, promotional communications and commercial updates only where permitted by law and, where required, after obtaining the data subject’s consent.

Marketing consent is free, specific and may be withdrawn at any time. Promotional communications will include, where technically available, an unsubscribe mechanism or other means to object to further communications.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

12. Customer account

Users may create a customer account to manage orders, addresses, purchase history, assistance requests and other available website functions.

The user is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and must promptly inform Tectron in case of unauthorised use of the account or suspected credential compromise.

Account deletion may be requested by contacting Tectron. Some data may continue to be retained after account deletion where necessary for tax, accounting, warranty, security, dispute management or legal obligations.

13. Data sent for technical assistance and compatibility checks

For technical assistance, warranty, compatibility checks or spare part identification, the Customer may send photographs, codes, documents, fault descriptions, appliance model data or other technical information.

Such data will be processed only to manage the request, identify the correct product, provide assistance, assess warranty or return requests and protect Tectron’s rights.

The Customer is invited not to send photographs or documents containing unnecessary personal data. Where images or documents contain third-party personal data, the Customer declares that he or she is entitled to send them or has obscured unnecessary information.

14. Reviews, feedback and user content

Where the website allows users to publish reviews, feedback or comments, the data provided by the user may be processed to publish, moderate, verify and manage such content.

Tectron may remove or refuse to publish content that is offensive, false, irrelevant, defamatory, unlawful, promotional, duplicated or contrary to the website terms.
