Description
With shrinking server room space and rising maintenance costs, network administrators are more than ever looking for solutions that reduce costs and space requirements. ATEN s LCD monitor KVM switches save space with their approach to KVM switching technology by integrating an LCD screen, full keyboard and touchpad in a single 1U housing.
IDATA CL-1308N features an integrated 19 LCD monitor with LED backlighting and allows you to control up to 8 computers with a single keyboard, a single screen, and a single mouse (i.e., from a single console). An additional 8 switches can be cascaded, bringing the total number of computers that can be controlled from a single keyboard-monitor-mouse console to 128.
Quick and easy installation: simply connect the cables to the appropriate ports. The switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for computers. The CL1308 directly intercepts keyboard input, thus avoiding the need to configure any software. Switching from one computer to another is done simply by pressing the buttons on the front panel corresponding to the port LEDs, by keyboard hotkey combination, or via the multilingual OSD menu.
